"Impacting lives for Christ through
example, Bible teaching, and a
positive camping experience"
Welcome to Glad Tidings Bible Camp

Thanks for visiting! We are a summer youth camp in the beautiful hills of rural Nebraska. We are located in Bloomfield, NE and serve Northeast Nebraska and Southeast South Dakota.

We believe God's Word, the Bible, is truth and emphasize the Gospel message that Jesus lived a perfect life, died so that those who believe in Him could have their sins forgiven, and rose again so anyone who calls on him could have eternal life.

We are here to serve you. We are not affiliated with any church or denomination so we can serve all Christian churches and organizations by providing youth camps over the summer and retreats and rental options the rest of the year.

Our modern facilities make your camp or rental group experience enjoyable. Come visit us any time!

Roads To Camp
Road Construction

While we weathered the recent Nebraska flooding, some of the roads coming our direction did not. We'll keep this page updated with the latest info that we have.

Updated 5/30/2019

  • Highway 12 to the West of camp is now open to Niobrara, but closed beyond that.
  • From West of Niobrara, you will need to go South to O'Neill and then up to Bloomfield.
  • Coming from South Dakota - from the West, the Standing Bear Bridge South of Avon is now open and you can get here via Highway 12. From further East, everything is open as normal including Gavins Point and Highway 81 South of Yankton.
  • From Bloomfield, the "Cemetary Road", 543 Ave, currently has major potholes. It is driveable, but you might consider coming a different way :-)
  • From the Omaha area, I-29/I-680 is now open from Omaha/Council Bluffs to get North towards Sioux City.
  • Also from the Omaha area, both Dodge Street and Maple Street are open to the West and allows you to come up Highway 275 through Fremont and Norfolk.
